Errors in Results and Discussion
In the Original Investigation titled “Clinical Outcomes of Rapid Respiratory Virus Testing in Emergency Departments: a Systematic Review and Meta-analysis,” published online on March 4, 2024, there were text errors in the Results and Discussion. In the Results section, “Antibiotic use in the virus-negative RV testing group was correspondingly higher compared with the virus-positive group the corresponding control group” should be “Antibiotic use in the virus-negative RV testing group was correspondingly higher compared with the virus-positive group and also compared with the corresponding control group.” In the Discussion section, “suggesting that a rapid positive result for influenza was more likely to be followed by antibiotic prescribing” should be “suggesting that a rapid positive result for influenza was more likely to influence antibiotic prescribing.” This article was corrected online.
